Opening Hours in Thailand
In Thailand, most commercial offices open between 08:30 and 17:00 with a lunch hour between 12:00 and 13:00; they operate on a five-day week basis, with certain exceptions.
Government offices are generally open between 08:30 and 16:30 with a lunch hour between 13:00 and 14:00, Monday through Friday, except on public holidays.
Generally, Banks open at 08:30 and close at 15:30, Monday through Friday, except on public and bank holidays. It is best to confirm the business hours of your chosen bank.
At weekends Post offices are open until 12:00 on Saturdays.
Shops and stores are usually open seven days a week from 10:00 – 18:00, although many stores open 12 hours a day (8:00 to 20:00). Shopping centers, supermarkets and department stores are generally open from 10:00 - 21.00 daily.
Most shops and tourist-oriented businesses stay open on national holidays.
