There are many ways of transportation, since non air-conditioned buses, minibuses and VIP buses. Buses leave from Kanchanaburi bus station at 07:30, 08:30, 12:30 and 15:30. An exciting experience could be taking a ride through breathtaking nature by motorbike.

At the Three Pagodas Pass you can get a one day visa for visiting Burma, but you can renew your Thai Visa.

EAT AND DRINK

Guest houses have small restaurants; some of them offer vegetarian food using home grown organic produce. You can find very cheap eats at the small market in Sangkhlaburi. There are no western-style bars. Other eating options are:

Apache Family Café: located opposite the bus station, offers Thai and western food, its specialty is burgers.

Burmese Inn: located approx. 800 from the bus station, has the reputation for serving up some of the best Burmese food, serves also Thai and western food with reasonable prices.
