PracticalitiesHOW TO GET THERE By Car The most convenient trip is by car from Bangkok, travel may take up to 2 hours. Take Highway N° 1 via Saraburi to Lopburi (where you can see the sunflowers fields), total distance is 153 kilometers or use Highway N° 32 via Ayutthaya and travel further along Highway N° 347 to Lopburi via Amphoe Tha Ruea. By Bus Air-conditioned coaches and non air-conditioned buses leave the Bangkok's Northern Bus Terminal for Lopburi every 15 minutes from 5:00 am until 8:30 pm; travel time is around 3 hours depending on traffic. There are buses that leave the Ayutthaya Bus Terminal to Lopburi every 15 minutes, travel time take around 2 hours. From Kanchanaburi, visitors can take a local bus to Suphanburi (travel time 2 hours) and from there take another bus to Lopburi (travel time 3 hours). Lopburi also can be reached by bus from Suphan Buri, Sing Buri, Ang Thong and Nakhon Ratchasima. There are plenty of songthaews, samlors and motorcycles connecting Lopburi, city buses are also available. By Train The easiest way to get to Lopburi is by train. Lopburi is on the main line to Chiang Mai. Ordinary northern-route (Bangkok-Chiang Mai) trains leave Bangkok Railway Station at 7:05 am and 8:30 am. Both are third class only. Rapid trains leave the station 5 times a day (travel time take about 2.5 hours). Regular third class trains depart Ayutthaya to Lopburi, travel time take about 1 hour. ACCOMMODATION
