The BTS Skytrain
Currently there are two Skytrain lines: the light-green Sukhumvit line which travels down Sukhumvit road and then goes up Phahonyothin to northern Bangkok terminating at On Nut station and the dark-green Silom line, which starts out at Saphan Taksin station, travels through Silom area, interchanges with the Sukhumvit line at Siam Square. The Skytrain operates 06:00 am – midnight daily, the last train leaves between 23:30 and 23:50. Fares depends of how many zones you are traveling, consult the map near each ticket machine, trains come every three minutes during peak hours, during rush hours in the morning and the evening, the trains sometimes get packed. Journey times are no more than 30 minutes from one end of the line to the other.
