Don Mueang Airport

Don Mueang Airport or Don Muang, was Bangkok’s main airport until 2006. The Airport has 3 terminals; terminal 3 is still used as Domestic terminal. Now, Thai Airways, Nok Air, Air Phoenix, and One-Two-GO Airlines serve domestic flights from this airport. The airport is a recommended alternative when flying to the rest of the country, especially to Ayutthaya or Kanchanaburi.

The Airport has suitable services, such as food, refreshments, shops, ATMs. Near the airport is the train station, taking the train is the cheapest way to get from the airport to Bangkok, there are also a number of public transport buses going by the airport. Note that large baggage is not allowed.
