Pattaya Nightlife

Renowned for its nightlife, Pattaya has a reputation as Thailand’s naughtiest city, is said that almost all fantasies can be fulfilled.

In South Pattaya there is an incredible array of things to see and do. Visitors can enjoy Muay Thai matches, glaring erotic shows. There are many shops, restaurants, open-air bars, beer bars, clubs, discotheques, and other pleasure establishments. The world famous Walking Street in South Pattaya is the center of the Pattaya’s nightlife, the street itself and its sois are all packed with go-go bars, discos, night markets, massage parlors, beer bars, restaurants, cabaret shows, nightclubs, discotheques and more. The most famous entertainment centers around Pattaya include Insomnia Disco, Tony's Disco, Marine Disco, X-ZYTE Disco, Lucifer's, Hollywood Disco, and Hammer.

The Pattaya's 4 kilometers beach road turns into a promenade after dark transformed into one of the hottest nightspots.

Nightlife in Pattaya is linked to a large extent to commercial sex; it attracts thousands of visitors from overseas. Many massage parlors are venues for sex workers, although exist other massage parlors which provide the traditional Thai massages

Pattaya probably has the largest concentration of gay oriented establishments in Thailand. Areas such as Boyztown, Soi Sunee Plaza and the Jomtiem Complex are the most popular.

Pattaya is famous also for its cabaret shows of kathoeys (male-to-female transgender, referred as lady-boys), being Alcazar and Tiffany's the most important establishments.
